This is a foundation program designed to help the young people get the most of their high school education after completion of Senior 4. O level leavers are given opportunity to study for 1 year, accumulate the 30 credit units and become eligible for college or University admission in a paced fashion.
The chief aim of the Math and Science Pathway is to prepare and qualify our students to enter competitive math- or science-related undergraduate programs (e.g., Biology, Engineering, Computer Science, Pure Mathematics, and Nursing). Before leaving Braemar College graduates would have: · Developed competence in key advanced mathematical operations · Learned Fundamental processes in the study of the natural world · Mastered strategies of analyzing complex problems
The main aim of our Academic Business Pathway is to enable students to grasp the basic principles and procedures that are employed by business in both North America and other regions of the world. Graduates of our program have gone onto study in top business programs, worked in global multinationals, and even started their own companies. Before leaving Braemar College they would have learned:
· How to make a great resume / CV
· How to present your business ideas in a fresh, compelling way
· How to collaborate effectively with others
The chief aim of our Humanities Pathway is, first, to expose students to ideas and cultural traditions central to becoming mature and thoughtful adults, and, second, to prepare and qualify students to enter competitive undergraduate arts programs (e.g., Politics, Psychology, Philosophy).
The aim of our Art and Design Pathway is to help students improve the conception, development, and execution of their design ideas. This is partly through the careful study of some of the world’s greatest artworks and partly through practice Before leaving Braemar College they would have learned: · The broad outlines of the main traditions in Western art history · How to work in pen, pencil, paint, sculpture, video, and experimental media · How to put together a compelling portfolio.
